Introduction

I moved to Denver last summer after having lived in NYC for 6 years. I'm husband to a wonderful man and daddy to our 3 year old puggle. I work in digital marketing and technology. I like to travel. I'm a sci-fi geek. I like to tinker and create things, and will try anything new. I'll always go for wine and cheese with good friends. I'm love being outside, and started skiing again this winter after 10+ years, and started the camping & hiking season early. I believe in community, in treating others right, in an open mind, and in personal growth. I'm rather laid back and usually slow to speak, but happy to always meet someone new and do something fun.

Work

I work on the Web.

My background is in technology but with a degree in business I sit in a happy little niche bridging the two. I play with strategy and marketing, and build fun things online and on iPhones. I really like what I do, but more than anything I like to create things, try new things and tactics, and see strategies come to life.

The Mighty Ants

I went independent in 2008 and started an interactive tech & communications firm. We do a lot of different things: branding & marketing, strategic consulting, experience design, websites and applications, etc. I also release iPhone applications, with two currently in the App Store, & others in progress.

The Games Place

For the holidays in 2009, my husband and I started and ran a pop-up shop in New York's Bryant Park selling designer board games (or "eurogames"). It was a lot of fun, we made a little money, and was a great way to introduce a ton of people to a favorite pastime.

Last year I started hand-binding books, and have done a few I'm quite proud of. Now I'm working on rebinding our modern library into a more classic look.

Board Games

Think Catan, not Monopoly - a different kind of board game that is more strategic and communal than the boring, never-ending classics.

  • I'm allergic to cats. And guinea pigs.
  • Hazlenut coffee makes me ill.
  • I once no, twice actually, drove an ATV up the center aisle of the church sanctuary. The tire tracks are still in the foyer.
